Youth Mentoring Program

“Today's Youth, Tomorrow's Leaders” was the cornerstone of a program Tony Robbins conceived in which business people, community leaders and educators would be partnered with young people in a mentoring relationship within their local schools and nonprofit organizations. Target populations include junior high to high school students who are eager to develop leadership skills and committed to contributing in their communities. The unique design of this mentoring program supports a group of 10-30 students with three mentors dedicated to motivate and empower individuals to contribute to the global society. The carefully selected mentors include a community leader, an academic advisor who is familiar with the participating student and a high school senior or college student, each with a specific role in this mentoring process.
How does the Mentoring Program work?
The Anthony Robbins Foundation Mentoring program partners with schools and nonprofit organizations to provide leadership materials to mentors in the form of a kit which contains workbooks, mentor guidebooks, audio/visual materials and activity supplies for 10 leadership focused lessons. The kit is designed to give students new skills, introduce them to amazing leaders and help them to make a difference in their communities. Mentors meet prior to the student meetings to plan and prepare. During meetings students are encouraged to communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with mentors and other students through exercises in their workbooks. After meetings, feedback is given to assist in the continued development of the program materials.
